Youth Basketball is designed to teach newcomers the basic skills of basketball and refine skills for returning players. Focus will be on ball control, shooting techniques, offensive and defensive tactics, rules and regulations of the game, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play for all. Leagues are forming now for ages 3 to 18.All applicants go through an interview process to get to know more about YOLA and the team. Teens will spend at least 5 hours a week hands-on with our day campers, implementing their activity facilitation skills. One day will be "off-site" or a field trip day.
